7 years ago right now I was being induced. It was 104 degrees in the lovely state of Indiana the last day of spring. Our Dr. said at my check up on 6/19/02 how does tomorrow sound for a baby? Well it is a Thursday, check and meets with my OCD even number 6, 20, 02, check and I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET MY BOY AND I AM AS BIG AS BARN so yes it sounds great thank you. They broke my water and said to me at 12:55 it is going to be a while you are only 5 centimeters and we think you should take something for the pain. NO! I don't want it I will be fine. Well at 12:57 not so fine and they started an IV with Staydal and turned it way down just to take the edge off. Well imagine Mr. Fish's surprise when at 1:05 I said I HAVE TO PUSH! He said no way they just checked you. I said get the Dr. or you are going to be delivering your own baby. He got the nurse and I was 10 centimeters and it was time to push! Our son S was born at 1:22 p.m. that day. He was 9 lbs. and 10 ozs. and 22 inches long.
Imagine my surprise when the next day my sister (who was due 7/5) called to tell me that her water had broke overnight and she had her son at a hospital across town :) So there you have it the story of S and his cousin L and them being 1 day apart and 2 houses apart but never far from each other's thoughts.
Have a great son..I am SO PROUD OF YOU! I tell him all of the time one of these days he is going to make some wonderful lady a very GREAT HUSBAND! He is a ball of energy but always has time for a hug and a kiss. And still loves to sit on my lap at church which makes me so happy!

He's so sweet. And I'm so glad I talked you out of naming him Vincent. :-)
He is so handsome, I just love him. And his glasses look great too!
I love the glasses too!! It goes so fast, doesn't it? I can't believe mine will be 10 next month. It almost breaks my heart. Gotta love every minute of it.
